The quality of both monitors is very good.
The Dell is using a S-IPS panel if I am not mistaken, which is the greatest panel for color and image quality, albeit a little slow. Although I find it more than adequate for gaming, some people with fast/picky eyes could notice ghosting. The Samsung is ideal for gaming but it doesn't have the image quality of the Dell monitor, but that doesn't mean it is bad. It is better than most others actually. |

If you are satisfied with a 20.1" monitor, the Samsung will serve you fine. |
