If I will buy more memory

What will happen if I buy more memory, cos now I have dual channeled memory modules. So should I buy another kit or just one module like 1gb or 2x512 kit ? Will they work in dual channel, if I have 2xKit or what happen to the kit what I use now if I just buy new 1gb module ? Say if this is too hard to undestand. Hope you got it. Tell me what to do when i will need more memory!

4 x 512 it will work but you'll only be able to do 2T. For 1T you need 2 1gig mods.

What`s the difference between 2T and 1T and is big difference? And what would happen if I buy 1gb module instead of 2x512 ? Thank you for quick reply

Performance..hmm not sure how much per percentage. Lets just say 1T is much faster. Hmm, honestly I don't know how another 1 gig stick would affect it. Yes, you heard that right some one saying they don't know! It might not be a bad idea to try it though. (1) 1 gig stick would be cheaper than 2. So I say go ahead, and see what the out come is.
