rolleyes Corsair 2GB vs G.Skill 2GB

hi guys, i just placed an order for Corsair 2GB DDR XMS4000PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS3 (MY-094-CS) but they had none in stock and they said the G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 (2x1GB) CAS3 Dual Channel Kit (F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ) (MY-008-GS) were the same.
just that ive never heared of "G.SKILL" before now until now?

both have the same CAS Latency : 3-4-4-8 (PC4000) j havent got a clue what that means thou

yeah g.skill is actually much better than Corsair. When it comes to 1gb sticks for overclocking the best are:
OCZ Platinum pc4000. you can get them for about 300 a pair and have been known to go to almost DDR600
the next best are:
g.skill extreme edition F1 pc3200 not sure the code, but the light blue ones. they go for about 200 a pair and are usually good for DDR550+

you can get both from newegg.

the g.skill extreme f1 pc4000 that you mentioned I believe are black... and while they are very good, the light blue pc3200 that I mentioned before have been known to OC farther.
