I don't know the answer to your question but I do like your car!!! Nice ride

ok sorry for getting off topic

EDIT: I do know the answer. If the drive is over i think 130gig you need the drivers that came with the disk to allow windows to see it.

what version of windows are you running, and how old is the machine? you said you just built it right?

EDIT:
if your running winXP and your computer is new, this is what you need to do......

right click "my computer" > click "manage" > click "disk management" on the left side of the window > (your drive at this point should be seen by disk managment) right click on the drive > click "format NTFS" > problem solved

hit F-6 during the install, maybe you need to load the SATA drivers for the mobo

i'm doing both actually, focusing more into performance just a few body modifcations for it to stand out... next on the list is a ram air hood, lowering springs, bigger tires (245front/285rear) and black bullit rims and a tint thats about all for body mods...

back to the computer problem:
i formated the harddrive and installed windows xp pro on it and then went to put it in my pc i built and it didnt work, just a blank screen any ideas?

so you installed windows on that harddrive from a different machine and put it into your machine? that's what i understand what you're saying right there. if that's what you're doing, then that will never work and will always get that problem.

just install windows on the machine you will be using. if you have any issues make sure that the SATA controller is set to "single" or "IDE" in your BIOS (depending on what your BIOS sets it as) instead of RAID mode. then like falstaff said, in that first blue screen when installing windows, press F6 to load up any SATA drivers that are necessary. that should help you out there.
