I already know (and using, of course) this PSU Calculator a few months now and I just wanted to say that I personally think this is the BEST On-Line PSU Calculator!!! I'm totally satisifed with it as it is super-updated all the time and gives/provides the most accurate calculations.

I recommended it to everyone I know that deals with hardware and I'll keep letting everyone know about this one!!!

So...one more time...THANKS for such a wonderfull PSU Calculator!!!

I know this thread is old but i didn't see a Pentium D 915 in the LGA775 list (call me picky), so i went for the closest i could find which was a 920

They're no different in power consumption. Only difference is that the 920 includes virtualization tech, while the 915 does not.

System Specs

Great utility man

I have one question. If it shows that power consumption is 486W and my PSU is 500W can it keep pushing like this or i might have a problem and need a new PSU ?

I dont know whats wrong but the calculator states that my system needs a 350w PSU to run.....now my system can't even run on a 550w PSU....just an FYI other than that this is an amazing tool!

You are probaly fine. Well, it all depends on amperes and mostly on +12V rail(s).

That PSU calculator isn't very useful. i put in my exact specs as listed under my name, and it says i should have a PSU with a wattage of 1112? ummm right. my 750w PSU handles it easily

even when i put system load to 60%, it says i need 780watts
