What should I do?
I got this really annoying problem. My current CPU which is the 4200 X2 (manchester core) doesn't like my RAM. When running 2x512, I overclocks nicely to 270mhz FSB as well as running tight timings of 2.5-3-3-5 T1. But when I put another 2x512 in there making it 4x512, it doesn't wanna run it at all. After batteling with the pc for hours it gets somewhat stable at 245mhz and T2 timings but occasionaly it crashes. I really wanna have two gigs and overclock so I am wondering what should I do? Get another CPU, like a Toledo Core or a 5000+ S939 when those come out, hoping that their build-in memory controllers are better. Or waste the money I've spent on this ram and buy another ram, say two gigs of Crucial Ballistix PC-4000? I am open to your suggestions.

IMO, i say you get new ram. 2x1Gb sticks of ram. That way you can keep your total 2Gb memory configuration, but still be able to run the memory at the 1T timing. you obviously like overclocking, so get something that has tight memory timings for the 1Gb sticks. To make up for some of the cost of the new memory, sell off your current memory.
