Very strange problem , need some help!

Hello, When I play games like BF2, NFSMW and not sure if i have had this problem with other games but whatever. The problem is that i got A HUGE about 6Sec Lagg /Stutter and then the game continues where it stopped before the lagg , but the is that in BF2 when i get this "lagg" it disconnects from the server. When the lagg comes my hdd led is bright blue and it doesnt flicker its just like the power led and it doesnt make the sound of reading disk , so why the fu*k it is blue and doesnt even read. Say everything you need to know before solving this problem and pls i need that help , cos its so annoying to play bf2 if i will disc from every server...

It sounds like it could possibly be your computer trying to use too much of a pagefile. I would experiment and see what happens if you reduce pagefile size, as those games might be trying to use your hard drive as memory and could cause slowdowns or pauses.

Thank you for your tip, now that Huge lagg only comes in BF2 ,but thats just another bug in 1.2 if im sure

One question (although it doesnt belong here) but how large should the pagefile is, between what to what. Now I have 1971mb - 2000mb.

When I've set the pagefile size manually, I always make the low and high the same thing. Don't let it fluctuate. So, try using 2000 MB for both and see how that does.

Hmm that strange "pause" still comes in bf2. Always when i start to play it first time it comes after i have joined to server and clicked join game. First hdd led is bright but doesnt "twinkle" and the game is jammed for about 5sec and after that hdd starts to read again and the game continues where it stopped , but the problem is that it always disconnects when the "pause" comes. What can make this problem. The same problem have come in NFSMW and CS:S. Help me pls!
