Antec Signature 850W @ DH

Antec Signature 850W Review
__________________________

Recently Antec have released a new PSU series dubbed Signature which don't come cheap, however Antec claims that they are implementing cutting-edge technology and quality currently available for consumer PSUs. We will examine if these claims are true in this review as we will be pushing the Signature 850W unit to its limits.

Looks like a great PSU but when I checked the price...$350! Antec must not be selling many of these.

Why did they even bother with the 4 modular connections??? What is 4 cables when you have that massive amount of native PSU cables. I guess $350 is what it costs for >80% efficiency at 20/50/100% load. You have to admit, that is downright impressive.

4 cables full of connectors are about as many cables as the native ones. Which means that you'd have to deal with double the cables if they were all native. It's not perfect, but it surely will reduce the cable clutter somewhat.

Hmmm....perhaps. It could also be "flooded with" or "filled with". The possibilities are probably endless.

It sure is an expensive unit as I mentioned in the conclusion, but 350$ sounds way too much. I would expect it to be in the 240-280$ range. Perhaps you should browse a little more.

Edit : Oh 350$ Canadian. That sounds much more accurate.
