Throughout 2008 Corsair released a great range of power supplies which quickly earned them a strong reputation as a quality provider in the market. Today we will take a look at Corsair's tenth power supply product, the TX850 850W PSU. The TX850 is a newer, upgraded version of the very popular TX750 which we reviewed a few months ago. The TX series units are designed to offer great electrical performance at the best possible price to performance ratio. We will see how well the most powerful TX series unit can perform in this review.

Great review and another solid PSU I like Corsair stuff. On the fan noise note this issue drives me nuts with almost every product type available.

Why manufacture a 300 or 400 dollar PSU or video card and put a fan on it that sounds like a chainsaw gone terribly wrong. The technology for quiet, efficient long life fans has been around for years the technology is there .. use it!
