OCZ Apex 120GB SSD Review @ DH
Read The Review Here
______________________ The most aggressive company in the SSD market most likely is OCZ, who released no less than six new series of SSD drives during the past seven months. Today we will have a look at one of their mainstream series SSD models, the Apex 120GB. We are going to see how well the latest mainstream MLC SSD drive from OCZ can perform in this review. |

How is Windows 7 built around the idea of these "new" SDDs? Are things like defragmentation etc disabled by default then?

I wouldn't mind one either solid state devices are smart and this looks good.

Re: OCZ Apex 120GB SSD Review @ DH
The OCZ Apex really is just two Solid Series in RAID0. It still has poor IOPS compared to the Intel X25 SSD's. The drive I am really looking foward to seeing is the Vertex, which is not using the Jmicron controller and will be using cache.
