Re: Novatech Zu PC @ DH

I think this is the first time DH review a whole desktop system , but it is nice .

However this things confuse me:
1.They offer 64bit Vista and in the same time the system has only 2 GB , which is by today standards a bit minimum not recommended for gaming.

2.

Novatech will only be able to replace a screen that has three or more pixel defects spread across the screen, or two dead pixels that are connected to each other
They expect the monitors to be defected or that's just a warranty.!

But I must admit that 2ms response time is very amazing considering that most monitors have 5ms.

Re: Novatech Zu PC @ DH

comp_ali, the system has 4GB of RAM, I don't know where you get the 2GB from.

The burned pixels warranty is about normal for a monitor. Very rarely you will find someone to sell one with 100% pixels guaranteed.

I don't really like the price for the system. IMO it should be 100-200 £ less for what it offers.

Good review.

The price isn't that bad. They have to make some money you know ^_^ At least they're using decent components.

I'm not a huge fan of the monitor though, but not everyone is picky.

HDIT

Hyundai IT stems from Hyundai Electronics who are now known as Hynix, one of the largest memory and semiconductor manufacturers in the world, so they do come from somewhere!

As far as the price of the system goes, to the people how have said it costs too much for what it is.... well if you add up the price of the exact same components in a DIY manner the machine comes up about £820-850ish... so I don't think £899 inc VAT is too much to ask

Thanks for the post back Nathan I don't deal in UK currency and am not really familiar with the prices of individual components there unless they are noted on forums such as this one. Presented in the way you posted it isn't a bad price
