Asus F70 Laptop @ DH

Asus F70 Review
______________

Asus are in fine form recently and despite the global economic downturn they continue to produce a relentless stream of quality products. While many of you might know them primarily for the award winning motherboards they also have a huge range of personal computers with the focus being on laptops.

Today we’ll be taking a look at the Asus F70 laptop, a basic Multimedia machine that slots in at the £750 mark making it a viable option for those who don't want to spend more on a Sony or Apple.

Purely from the specs, I can't say I am impressed. They should go with a 15" model and 200 down, then I would be impressed. Although I still don't understand what is wrong with almost everyone and keep installing 32bit version of OS in their machines.

Re: Asus F70 Laptop @ DH

Yeah that's one major draw back from Asus. They insist that 32bit is what people want.

Drives me nuts. They must figure installing 2 2gig sticks is cheaper than installing a 1gig and a 2gig. So they can use the same ram on all the computers etc.

Other than that this laptop I really like. It is very big, but I hope they keep up the looks since I really like how this one looks! Asus does not have a ton of style but they seem like they are working on it!

Re: Asus F70 Laptop @ DH

Great review but I would like to see it perform better in areas such as battery life.

(The 32 bit OS thing has been brought up before and isn't exclusive to ASUS)
