USB drives, we all have them. They are pretty much a must have item for any computer user as each can be used to transport files quickly and easily from location to location or from machine to machine. They can even be used as a backup device which can be put away in a drawer for safekeeping without taking up the space of a traditional hard drive or pile of DVDs.

Each offers its own pros and cons though so it can be hard to decide which the best purchase is. Today we have three flash drives on our test bench, all of which target a different part of the market. Do any of them suit your needs? Read on to find out.

Great review they all seemed to perform well but the Luxio would be most appealing to myself as a consumer

Certainly a difference in tastes then! I prefer something a little more modern looking myself, nice drive nonetheless though.

Cosmetic appearance comes in 3rd or 4th place vs performance, functionality and reliability.

That throttle drive, performance or what!
It has to be at least a dual channel controller, the write speed performance shows up even on USB, and the read speed on ESata is just incredible - even the write speed increases.

The other drives are actually pretty average, maybe single channel with fast flash, or possibly dual channel with slow.
