Purchasing a new computer is never an easy task with countless manufacturers offering systems of various configurations. It takes a little something special to stand out among such a crowded theatre and today we’re going to take a look at a system from Kobalt Computers.

Kobalt Computers pride themselves on their bespoke offerings and have a number of clients in professional industries such as pipeline design and computer animation. The system we’ll be putting through its paces today is their Apache ICE X58, a machine boasting a 4.2GHz Core i7 920 processor, GTX285s in SLI and a full watercooling setup.

That is some awesome work Kobalt have put into the W/C system. All round damn good.

I'm assuming you can pick the colour for the braiding, coolent etc... Toxic green looks pretty awefull.

Great review and superb workmanship and attention to detail on this build

A bit out of my price range but very impressive the dual pump setup has actually given me an idea for my current project. I hadn't thought of also cooling the NB and SB very nice and well thought out design by Kobalt !

Wow great review and looks like a great pc. One thing when you got the temperature readings for cpu were you running prime 95 for load temps, if so i am impressed.

I liked the look of this pc so much i am thinking of buying one.Also what was the noise like on the fans on cpu load and intense gaming? was it much higher than idle or is the whole package really quiet.
