OCZ Illuminati Keyboard Review @ DH

Today we are looking at a new keyboard they have on offer, the OCZ Illuminati. OCZ arent generally known for their peripherals so it will be interesting to see what this product can bring to the table.

Very nice price , however don't like the tough keys.

Flat keys are not good for gaming. I used a logitech flat illuminated keyboard, and for gaming it's useless compared to the g11. I find it a weird choice OCZ made in that regard.

Doesn't look to bad for that price but after reading the notes on the keys I don't think I would find it comfortable either. I have the Alchemy Elixir here and the keys are actually very responsive and quite different from this one by the sounds of it. The wrist rest and shape of this one and mine are very similar and I do like the illumination feature wish this one had it.

Great review Nathan and a quick question for you. I didn't see it noted in the review but do the keys have a non slip coating on them similar to the Elixir? If so this is great in theory but not in practice as it has worn off a lot of mine in 6 months.

another re-branded razer. surprised ocz is still working with them. of course my dislike for razer has nothing to do with that opinion

if that thing has the same anti-ghosting as the tarantula has.... then that is one great value product....

mine needs to be retired.... the "m" key is failing.... gotta press it EXTRA hard for it to register

anti-ghosting aint much use if keys arent working or the kb itself doesnt work...
