Oh my... Thanks for a great review of this fantastic product.

I'm generally quite pleased with my Sony NWZ-A816 Walkman (very good sound quality and battery life), but if that device becomes available here, it'll make an exceptionally tempting upgrade option with it's fairly comprehensive format support, fantastic battery, that gorgeous screen and a decent storage capacity (high audio quality goes without saying).

It's actually been available in the US for months now - it's just not as heavily marketed as the Apple products for instance.

The screen quality doesn't even begin to come through in the review - it's something that just can't be accurately conveyed through photos in a web page displayed on a LCD monitor. I had the chance to set it side by side with a large Samsung 1080p LCD TV and the S9 looked better.
