Enermax ECO 80+ 620W PSU Review @ DH
Read The Review Here
_________________ A few months ago we tested and reviewed the least powerful unit of their new entry-level series, the Eco 80+ 350W. Even though it was a little expensive for its class, it was a very high quality product with great overall performance. Today we will take a look at the most powerful product of the same entry-level series, the Eco 80+ 620W. This output is adequate for a modern gaming PC configuration with several hard disk drives. We will thoroughly examine the features and the performance of the most powerful Eco 80+ unit in this review. |

I'd rather get Antec 650 watt for the same price or less.

Personally, I think they need to go modular, but I guess we'll see.
I was wondering if Enermax has released any new products, I have had really bad experiences with them which made me kinda mad since people have recommended em... It looks nifty, but seems like it should be a bit cheaper... But nice review |

Re: Enermax ECO 80+ 620W PSU Review @ DH
What I generally miss in PSU reviews is the testing of the over-current protection circuit.
Does it really kick in? (in cheap psus there is nothing like that and if so it does not work) Is every voltage circuit separately oc-protected? (or not) Otherwise a good review so far especially the power efficiency/temperature delta tells that a 100% load is quite hot (exhaust temp) and this psu is not really meant for 100% load. |
