Intel Core i7-3930K and Core i7-3820 Review @ HH

Intel Core i7-3930K vs Core i7-3820 vs FX-8150 vs 990X vs 2700K

The Core i7-3820 will be released soon and already available to buy is the i7-3930K. We will be taking a look at both to determine where they sit in comparison to the older i7-990X, AMD FX-8150 and Intel i7-2700k in a selection of real world and synthetic tests.

yup.. the 3930k still packs the best wallop in terms of flexibility at all levels.

will be nice when things start to make exclusive use of hexacore

Nice review.

10/10 value for a nearly £500 product is an incredibly strong recommendation, too. I guess for the niche within a niche that the 3930k/3960x are aimed at, it really is worth that.

I think they mucked up by not selling unlocked 8-cores at an even higher price, though. Surely some would buy that. Will HH be reviewing the 3.3GHZ 8-core Xeon?
