LG release 13 inch CULV laptop - 10 hour battery life

Highly regarded monitor maker LG has just announced to DriverHeaven the release of their new CULV laptop which features Intel's SU7300 processor. It ships with a mighty 4GB of memory (DDR2), Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics and the package is rounded out with a stonking 500GB hard drive. To keep it fast and streamlined it is also supplied with Windows 7 Home Premium (hopefully the 64 bit version).

We asked about information on the monitor but we couldn't get any detailed specs, but it is 13 inch and it packs an impressive 8 cell battery into the chassis, which promises very long life. LG report 10 hours or more under 'general' use - which we will assume will translate to around 7 if you thrash it. Still impressive.

Pricing has not been confirmed but we will keep you updated as details filter down the channels.

I think this is the X-Note T380 my distributor has been talking about. It's supposedly based on MSI's X-Slim design (particularly the X-340). I haven't got a price on it yet, but the distributor was thinking that it could probably be around $899 Canadian when it comes in.

jeeze.. at that price... your looking at being able to get a Asus k70C1 17" laptop with 64bit home premimum win7 and far more power overall.
