Upcoming Sapphire HD5750 VaporX pictured
Sapphire are due to release the HD5750 VaporX edition very shortly and we have a picture of the card to show you guys.
We hope to have a review of this card on Driverheaven in the near future and if it anything like Sapphire's other VaporX editions we are sure it will be another class leader. |

That's the way. Hopefully they can do a similar job on the 5850 in a few months.

Re: Upcoming Sapphire HD5750 VaporX pictured
Looks freakin sweet! Anyone else notice that the heatsink itself looks almost identical to the original Intel C2D and Prescott coolers? with that round shape and the fins.

Not me personally but I do know 3 people that had nightmares dealing with their support people, worse then EA games if possible. And for warranties it's hard to compete with XFX or EVGA depending on what card you are looking for. I actually have owned several Sapphire cards without issue, I just think they should get more competitive on their product warranty protection

Re: Upcoming Sapphire HD5750 VaporX pictured
I am not trying to really bitch but when you take the price of higher end graphics cards a 1 yr warranty doesnt seem to be enough anymore. For end users that like to be early adopters when a new series of cards emerge, they are going to take a major loss on their investment when they have to try and trade off or sell the previous card. The big selling features for me with XFX in particular, is that I can replace the stock heatsinks without voiding warranty and if I sell the card the warranty can be transfered to the person I sell the card to. This gives the user some protection and allows them to remain an early adopter of new cards.

Re: Upcoming Sapphire HD5750 VaporX pictured
I once owned a Sapphire card with 'engine-trouble', but their service was very good.
I bought it 2nd-hand, from some kind of auction site, like Ebay you know.. It was DOA but as I had bought it 2nd-hand I had nowhere to go than to try for an RMA. Didn't have the receipt or anything, just the card (not even the original box). I've send it to sapphire and they repaired it for me, no questions asked. only downside was I had to send it to Canada..
