acer 5024, x700 and mod tool

I've got a Acer 5024WLMi with a Mobilty X700. I've got the 6.9 drivers thanks to the mobility modder.
When I change resolution I get a distorted image like this. I also got the exact some problem before when I forgot to install the chipset drivers but not when changing resolution but when using D3D or OpenGL but that was fixed when I install the chipset drivers.
I get the same problem with 6.8 drivers. Anyone recognice this problem? Is it a problem with the drivers or the mobility modder or please god no, my computer?

I have the same exact problem, my laptop displaying the exact same image when installing Catalyst 6.9, 6.10 and 6.11.

What could be wrong? I just received my laptop after a repair from Acer, in which they replaced my CPU, HD, DVD, Mainboard with nwe ones.

Also, I realised that Mobility drivers cannot be installed in my system (the diagnostic tool by ATI does not recognise my system being compatible with the drivers). So I MUST install the modded drivers, in which case I got this serious problem.

Any answer means a lot.

Ok, Is there anybody out there that still has a copy of DHModTool v3?

I desperately want it so I can test it with the Catalyst, to see if it works. I can't seem to find it anywhere!...
