ATI Radeon Xpress 1150

I have an ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 Graphics card for my Gateway, I am not sure if i can use the modtool on this and don't know if it will mess up my laptop if i do, Does anyone know about this

what is your laptop brand and type?

yes it's windows vista and a Gateway MT6451

damn i already have the Cataylst 7.4 and the game i have still won't start up it crashes on start up.. damn ATI

It's possible Vista that's making things hard for you, not the graphics card. Although you don't have the fastest card around anyway. Try installing the game in the windows compatibility mode.

spike, the 1150 cards still dont work with the latest mod tool - you did not add the codes only 1100 series. here again is the info

for some reason is says xpress series not xpress 1150 but this is the device id

rodar21, i have no idea why it is not working, because the device id 5975 is in the mod tool. the 1150 is part of the 1100 series. I will check it again, but it is in there.

hello
i've a DELL inspiron 1501 laptop, with windows vista.
it also has an ati radeon Xpress 1150 with AMD turion 64 X2 1.8 GHZ
and 1918 mb RAM and i think 256 mb for the grapihics.
ive downloaded and installed the latest drivers from ATI site but still games don't run as they should be.. i always have to set the resolution at the lowest and some video options low or off. take for example Hitman bloodmoney, everything is low and still, the framerate is 1 or 2 so it has extremely choppy images.
i also have this weird problem: when i shut down and/or restart the computer he suddenly has the first catalyst which was installed when i bought it installed, so when i always restart my laptop, i always have to re-install the latest downloaded catalyst..
what can i do, install some modded catalyst?.. u are the professional..

please help me, thx in advance
