ATI driver Setup.exe no longer launching?
I don't know if it's linked with the New modder tool or not, but before using the modder or after, I can't launche the Setup.exe. Double clicing on it just makes the little mouse pointer working animation and then it goes back to normal, nothing happening.
I DL'ed a new .exe from ATI, and even updated Vista, restarted the computer, but still nothing happening :/ Anyone got an idea? |

That is wierd, because my modder does not touch the setup file.
Try to delete the ati folder where the driver is extracted. Then run the new exe and see what is does. If it runs then close it and run the modder. You ae using it on Vista? any error?

Hmm... I don't think it's linked to the modder but the fact is that something happened and that something prevents me from running the Official unmodded and modded Setup.exe from the driver folder. No error, just nothing happening.
Yes I am on Vista and I redownloaded the driver package from ATI. Even when I extract the files with the built in extractor from ATI, the installation stops and doesn't even go further, without the need for me to cancel. I deleted the folder where I extracted the driver before reextracting the freshly redownloaded package. I have no firewall/antivirus running that could stop it from running, iy's really odd :/ |

Where can I open this event viewer?
If you're asking if there's an error in the log of the modder, there is none. |

I mean the Vista event viewer.
Open Event Viewer by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Event Viewer
