hdjerin there should be an .inf file in the folder where the ati driver is extracted to. Can you send that?

CamachoD i still have no idea why it happens, i checked the settings and all looks ok. Will double check it when i have some more time sorry.

Just curious, has this been tested on the HD2600 and the new 7.9s with the Bioshock and QuakeWar hotfixes on Vista 32bit?

Was hoping for quicker updates from Fujitsu (one of the opt-in companies for Vista) but still stuck on the 8.383 / 7.6 just like the Toshiba & HP users, hate this stupid mess with the OEMs

With more mobility users every year you'd think that both AMD and nV would wake up and update the mobile drivers like the desktop as it's their future. I know what Terry said, I'm just disappointed that they have to 'ask for permission' when it's their products that sell the OEMs products as much as the OEMs own namebadge.

I'm got a mobility FireGL V5250, will this allow me to use the standard (or modified) Radeon Catalyst drivers, or only the FireGL ones?

Okay, I've modified my INF and got it near perfect with the Modder. However, my last install showed four "Default Monitor" which I disabled manuelly. This now seems to be the only problem with the mod, but I can now watch TV or display externally.

beleg the x1700 and x2500 are the same just new name and maybe the x2500 has better hardware speeds for the core and memory.

mobility M6 Owner the only drivers you can use are the XP drivers, because the hardware can't handle the new WDDM drivers for vista.
