Mobility Modder VERY NEWBIE install question

Hi folks,

I've got a lenovo t60 running Vista business with an ATI Mobility radeon x1400. I followed the instructions for installing the Mobility Modder and got to step #5. (http://www.hardwareheaven.com/modtool/) OK... nobody laugh. At least I can't hear you.

How do I install MM? I see a bunch of files in a folder and three "application" files among them. Which file do I click to start MM? I tried clicking the application files and... NADA. It's really frustrating to have such a basic question! I must have done something wrong, but i'm not sure what.

Thanks in advance, A

After unzipping the file run MobilityDotNET.exe. That is the main application.

Install Problems

I tried opening that file (MobilityDotNET.exe) and what I get is a pop up window that says

"This software requires the .NET Framework 2.0 or higher. Please install the .NET Framework and run this sofware again."

Anyone know how to get past this so I can install the program?

You have to install .NET Framework 2.0 for MM to work...it's no biggie just go to MS site and download it.

Yes, had the same problem. You need .NET Framework 2.0 (from the Microsoft site), and also, you might need to have Windows Installer 3.1 installed before that (.NET Framework will give you similar message) Try these below:

Installer:
Download details: Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable

.NET Framework 2.0
Download details: .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)

.NET Framework 3.0
Download details: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Redistributable Package

Hopefully this helps.
