Lenovo Laptop T60P V5250 New driver gives me low FPS
Hello,
Is it normal for the newer drivers to lower you FPS? Before catalyst 8.4 I was using the drivers from windows update and I was getting an average of 85 FPS now with the new 8.4 catalyst I get an average of 30 FPS. another thing I've noticed is that the card's clock and memory speed are very low, see bellow: Core Clock in MHz 209 MHz Memory Clock in MHz 135 MHz Please help Thank you. I have no idea why the clock speeds are lower, because that modder does not change that and normally a driver will also not change that. It is possible that the chipset or motherboard adjusts it when it is not in use. I will need to chekc into this and see if it is the driver or the modder misses something.

I fixed my problem
CCC powerplay was set to "optimal battery life" when plugged it , so I changed it to "optimal performance" and now I get 85 FPS like before, no improvement with the new driver but at least I don't get 30 FPS
