Hi there and welcome to DriverHeaven!

I assume that you are talking about the mobility modder.net?

Did you downloaded the newest desktop drivers from AMD/ATI?
Did you uninstalled the old drivers first then rebooted and then installed the new modded drivers??

AIW/VIVO WDM Driver Version 6.14.10.6238

You have the wrong set of drives. You need to get the normal set of drivers not the igp set.

Here are the drivers what you need : AMD GAME Drivers & Tools

I have exact same problem ....

is this a catalyst bug or the drivers are really old ,

i figured this out when i posted 3dMark06 results on the web , then i saw the best score and he had 8.4 Drivers (not catalysts)

and i had 6.14....

oh here is mine >

Driver Packaging Version 8.493-080512a-063030C-ATI
Catalyst® Version 08.5
Provider ATI Technologies Inc.
2D Driver Version 6.14.10.6806
2D Driver File Path System/CurrentControlSet/Control/Video/{1E102378-CBD2-4AE8-AA43-81343A8C5767}/0000
Direct3D Version 6.14.10.0583
OpenGL Version 6.14.10.7537
Catalyst® Control Center Version 2008.0512.1133.18639
AIW/VIVO WDM Driver Version 6.14.10.6238
AIW/VIVO WDM SP Driver Version 6.14.10.6238

I have already instaled new 8.5 catalyst suite , before , i had 8.4 ccc , and i remember driver version was also 6.14..

I also tried to reinstalled the drivers while 8.5 ccc was left in ... but no success.

It shows me: " ATI Radeon HD 3800 Series ", and it doesnt tell me which one is , in 7.1 catalyst everything was ok , but i dont remember driver versions .. i can try installing those CCCs and reinstall the latest display driver ... hmm..

Also in the VPU recover section the option "send VPU report to ATI" VANIHSED ?

i think this has to be a bug wont work with this systems i have exactly the same

Win XP pro SP3 32-bit

That's it im contacting ATI , but i heard they do not respond and are always angry?

Im testing with 3DMark and wierdly i have a little less then i expected so drivers mean much ... if the drivers fix the score then it's really a serious bug.

You can't look at the numbers of the driver files. It is just a number that the maker gives. By the drivers only the last number changes and sometimes not and in a driver update not every file needs to be updated.

So just look at the driver package number and the Catalyst version number.

hmm ... the system that i was comparing to had vista (32 bit), and X2 version of top ATI card .. well ok then ...
btw ATI has way better drivers(ccc) than Nvidia.
