Dell Inspiron 6400 with Radeon Mobility X1300 - Mobility Modder wont work
Hi everybody, as my TV-Out doesnt work properly and Id like to have a few more FPS gaming, I tried to modd the Catalyst 8.7 to update my driver. I got XP and followed the tutorial precisely but even after the 3rd try the Setup of Catalyst is canceled claiming not to have found a matching driver...
Any suggestions or experiences with modding the Radeon on a system similar to mine? THX! |

Ok, just a short update:
I also tried the same with the 8.2 and 8.6 Versions, those didnt work either. Any useful ideas? |

Have you tried to install the modded drivers from Device Manager?

I tried a second time and this time the 8.2 Version worked. I finally got a TV-Out with colours!
![]() This doesnt explain the difficulties with 8.7 but as long as it works I'm fine with it. Ill try it with the device manager to see whether it works that way. |

I have an Inspiron 6400 with a Mobility Radeon X1400 and I can't get the modder to work either. How do you use the device manager to make it work?
