[Help] X2300...

i installed the latest 8.7 catalyst drivers through your method....
all went well except in between the setup it said failed to find setup package...
the setup completed successfully...and drivers were also updated but it said setup finished with errors....view log...
is there something wrong...
my grphx card is running fine...

Hi,

well if the drivers installed ok then that is good, but could you see if you can find that install log and post it. That would help.

when I clicked the view log file it did not find it.......
Can you help me with this........
i had installed assassins creed and played it fine untill one point when all graphics were filled with yellow wall like textures......
i came to know that it was a drivers outdated problem...
so I installed 8.7 catalyst drivers and modded them....
drivers became up to date from 8.403 to 8.512 but still the textures persisted......

help plz......

have you tried uninstalling the old driver and then installing the new ones?

Do you play any other games? if so does any of them also have problems?

no i installed the new ones over the old ones...
i did not uninstall the old ones....
I played gears of war too ...it was fine ........
the only problem i encountered was with assassins creed.........

What are the full system specs of your notebook?

Intel Centrino core 2 duo t8100 2.1ghz 3mb cache.......
ati mobility radeon 128 mb gddr3 x2300........
2gb ddr2 ram......
200gb hdd....
intel 965 based chipset
windows vista home premium sp1
1280x1024 max res
