Bug/problem

Just a heads up, but I recently installed the newest mobilitydotnet for my ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2600 to play old games on vista, and while they do work, whenever i minimize or if something pops up like an instant message, the graphics get all weird; it turns strange colors like bright green and red. all of the models stay the same, i mean the basic layouts and gameplay are still fine except the colors get really messed up.

i have no idea if its a problem on my end or if the modder is just made like that and its impossible to fix or something like that, but just a heads up in case anyone was having the same problem.

This could be a driver problem. Have you tried like an older driver?

uh yeah, ive used like 2 or 3 versions of the modder up to now, its just a presistent thing that always happens

so far, age of empires 2 it happens often, diablo 1 often, diablo 2 sometimes (but i switched to windowed mode just in case)

What versions of AMD/ATi drivers you have tested?

im unsure what version #'s they are.. but the folders in ATI/support/xxxx are:

8-4_vista32_dd_61008
8-7_vista32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_65998

and i think i had another but i deleted it awhile ago

So you have tried the CAT 8.4 and 8.7 for Vista 32-bit. You might want to try the Catalyst 8.8 drivers that was just released.

i just DLed and installed the new one with the modder and its the same, this has also happened on my PC with win XP from the last time i tried too
