Hello . My computer is dell latitude c610 with ATI radeon 7500LE 16mb card.
I know it is not the best one :P I would like to get some fresh drivers .

I have latest drivers from dell site , its from 2003 year or something like that .
This DH ATI File Version program says that it is Catalyst 4.3 .

How to install new catalyst drivers on it?
I did everything from the site . I have tried to modify this drivers with Catalyst 8.6 and it didnt work . It's still the same 4.3 catalyst ,same with Mobility Catalyst 6.5


Please help me how to get newest drivers ,whats wrong?

Do you mean the driver does not install? does it say like no device found or some other message?

When i try to install it normally it says that it cant be done or something . You know, dell dooesnt support new ati drivers . Now i have latest drivers from dell site . Then i tried method with ''mm'' .I extracted new catalyst drivers , and then modified it with mobility modder ,after reboot it's still the same old dell driver.

the 6.5 and 6.11's are the latest officials that "support" the 7500 series.....

however i'd probably suggest trying something in the realm of 5.xx series to see... I know the 5.9's were the last driver to support some of the 7xxx series "properly" with no issues..... so that might be a good place to start.

but you have a dell, and dell likes to "mess" with thier cards IF that card came with the machine.

So you may be limited to only the dell supplied drivers.

Thx . I've installed this 5.9 catalyst and it works fine but...
In 1 game my fps's from around 17 went down to 9 ... . Whats wrong? I changed everything to max performance .

I thought that i will get more frames with new drivers.

5.13 was the last version to not have the CCC. Maybe your computer is old enough to be slowed down by it?

I think that i deleted something accidentaly maybe .
When i try to install 5.13 or 5.1 it says

Video driver not found , please setup your vga dispaly driver or something like that ,but i can install 5.9 without any problems Oo

I have reinsalled my windows once again .
Now i cant even install this 5.9 It says

Error . Video driver not found when i try to install it .


Now i am getting more crashes . Blue screens with some driver problem . The last line in this error is something about at2dvag . How can i fix it?

Please help me with getting the best drivers as possible.


Btw . What directx is the best for this card? I didnt install 10 . Now i have 9.0c . I was thinking about older versios since that card doesnt have those new features.

If your getting frequent BSODs... it could be a sign that your card is dieing.. or possibly a sign that other hardware is failing. Have you ran a Memtest to see if there are problems with your memory as well?

It may be a good idea to invest in a new video card..

the x1650's are VERY cheap and support is top notch... specially capability with other older hardware (1650's imo are the last true AGP type card that just works, where as a number of people are having alot of issues with the HD series of cards and agp)

Duh . Dell c610 is a notebook. Is it even possible to change video card in laptops? O.o

It's not possible to change the video card on laptop. They usually are built in to the laptops motherboard.

What about this directx? What version should i use?

Those errors started 2 days ago . When i uninstalled all drivers . I though that windows reinstall will help . But it didnt .

I will miss that computer ;(
