Crashes on startup

Trying to get my ATI Mobility Raedon's drivers up to 8.8 so I can play Spore, tried using this tool.

After I get a generic 'This programme has closed, anything that you where working on has been lost.' I get the following error:

"Exception EXEception in module MobilityDotNet.exe at 000214BD. Exception has been thrown out by the target of an invocation'

Any help would be appreciated.
