ati radeon xpress 1100

Hi there, thanks for great software!

I have a bit of a problem=)
I have ASUS laptop, x50rl series with a ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 graphics card which driver is 1 year old, so when I modded catalyst 8.8, instead of installing driver for ATI radeon xpress 1100, it shows that I succesfully installed driver for ATI radeon X200m, or something like that. I first thought it's ok, maybe some problem with naming, but the performance has decreased.
Is there anything I can do to increase performance of my laptop?
