Official Sony Driver vs Mobility Modder
I have a VAIO FW140D
Are there any benefits to using the Mobility Modder over the one found on Sony's website? Sony eSupport - VGN-FW140D - Software Updates & Drivers |

Hi there and welcome to DriverHeaven!
That sony driver is based on CAT 8.4 if I'm not mistaken. So it's rather new. But if you like to use newest drivers from AMD/ATi you would have to use the mobility modder to mod the drivers. |

Hmm, I wonder why the Sony Driver is 123 MB, that's a pretty big difference in size. I guess I'll just go with the modded driver.

I personally don't know what does the sony drivers include but it could include .NET framework that is needed in order to use CCC
