OmegaDrivers - msconfig and 71.89 release
Hello,
I have NVIDIA GeForce 2 Ti gfx card. I used to have original forceware, 71.89 release is the latest for my card. Recently, I installed OmegaDrivers 1.5672a Performance. 1st question, regarding entries in msconfig. Does OmegaDrivers need NvCpl, NvMcTray and nwiz in order to function properly with all its performance tweaks and settings? I don't overclock and I don't override refresh rates. I know that in case of original forceware these entries I mentioned are only required if you want to do such things. What about OmegaDrivers? 2nd question 71.89 forceware is the latest driver for GeForce 2 Ti and lastest Nvidia Omega Drivers 2.169.21 (Forceware 169.21) is not supported by my card (or is it?). I can't find OmegaDrivers for 71.89 forceware, the lastest I found on OmegaDrivers.net - Home of the ATI & NVIDIA Omega Drivers. Archive is Nvidia Omega Drivers 1.6693 (Forceware 66.93). Is there any chance for tweaked 71.89 release? If not, is there huge difference between 66.93 and 71.89? Perhaps it would be better to use original, lastest forceware instead? |
