mobility Radeon HD3650 on Lenovo thinkpad
I’ve downloaded and installed (after a full back-up, and creation of recovery discs) the Omega drivers on my new Lenovo notebook. Specs as follows:[
Lenovo Thinkpad T500 OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600 System Type X86-based PC Processor x86 Family 6 Model 23 Stepping 6 GenuineIntel ~2261 Mhz BIOS Version/Date LENOVO 6FET43WW (1.13 ), 8/19/2008 SMBIOS Version 2.4 System Directory C:\WINDOWS\system32 Name ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 Installed Drivers ati2dvag.dll Driver Version 6.14.10.6822 Resolution 1680 x 1050 x 60 hertz Bits/Pixel 32 Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\ati2mtag.sys (6.14.10.6822, 2.96 MB (3,103,232 bytes), 9/1/2008 6:51 PM) I assume driver info above should correspond to the Omega driver installation recently performed. original OEM/Lenovo/ATI driver was: v.8.503.2.2-080818a-069536c The Omega driver install didn't correct the Open GL issues within the Sketchup Pro V 7. If, within the programs's user preferences, I enable hardware acceleration then I am unable to easily select image object surfaces. Other tools also do not work correctly When I installed the Omega drivers, I uninstalled CCC and installed the ATI tray tools. Do I need to reinstall CCC? Can I install Modder and newer drivers on top of my current set up.? Are there tweaks that I might try to my current install to correct the Open GL issues? I hope I'm not in over my head on this, but it's real important that I get this program working properly on this machine. Last edited by handrail; Feb 16, 2009 at 04:59 AM. |
