9.3: MobilityModder.NET reports success but Mobility X1700 not in list (Vista x86)

There seems to be an issue with the modifiying of the latest Catalyst drivers. I use an Asus F3Jp with an ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 GPU. I used version 1.1.1.0 of the tool, which worked fine with 9.1. However, although the tool indicated a successful modification, the Setup always finished with a warning that in the log was shown to be a failed driver install.

Having tried and failed several times by re-extracting the files and rerunning the tool on them, I tried manually installing the drivers via Device Manager. When I loaded up the INF file none of the Mobility cards were present.

I then took a look in the INF myself, and found the MobilityModder had inserted the device names and IDs as it usually does, however ATI seems to have grouped devices by operating system (as it now supports Windows 7 beta) and the lines inserted now need to go in the Win6.0 (Vista) section, I believe.

I manually moved the lines into the correct section and the driver installs and works fine.

add
"ATI Mobility Radeon XXXX" = ati2mtag_XXXXX, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_XXXX
to the CX_xxxxx.inf (found in ATI\SUPPORT\[Current Version]\Driver\Packages\Drivers\Display\LH_INF\ for vista) file (or CW_xxxxx.inf and CL_xxxxx.inf) below
[ATI.Mfg]
or
[ATI.Mfg.NTamd64.6.0] in the CH_xxxxx.inf file
and
ATI.Mfg.NTamd64.6.1] in the C7_xxxxx.inf file
for x64
(...x86... for vista 32bit)

then install the driver, afterwards install ccc

check system information (hardware > components) and the PNP Dveice ID of your 3470

should be

"ATI Mobility Radeon 3470" = ati2mtag_RV610, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_95C4

I feel I'm in over my head, but I have a Mobility Radeon HD 3650. What line should I add to force the drivers to install?

EDIT: And where should I add the line?
