Ati Radeon X300 Help

My computer was sent to a repair shop a while back, and all the guy did was format the hard drive, and ever since has been having problems. Games won't start, they'll say something like the check the drivers for my graphic card and make sure they're updated, but the problem is everytime I go to the Ati site and go through the driver wizard, it links me to download some catalyst driver thing that tells me after installing "Set up did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or operating system". Also whenever i startup a program, such as firefox or command prompt, an error message pops up saying "The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\soboposi.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." I've searched for these problems and have tried many supposed fixes, but have failed every time. I keep coming to answers such as enabling 3d acceleration, installing graphic card drivers, or enabling the graphic card drivers, which i've deleted in an attempt to reinstall them.

Also when I right click on my computer, go to hardware, then to device manager I've noticed that under the display adapters theres two things; Radeon X300 Series Secondary and Video Controller, both of which i've have turned off because when they're turned on there's a yellow caution symbol next to them and a bubble pops up in the bottom left of my screen prompting me to install drivers which the computer cant find. I'm stumped. If anyone can help, please do. thanks in advance

1. Activate the things in Device Manager that you deactivated.
2. Download and use Mobility Modder on the x300 non laptop drivers from ati.
3. install the now modified drivers.

Think thats your solution

It's still telling me set up did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or operating system.
