Cat 9.3 Drivers, x1400, Win7 NOT WORKING

I have tried repeatedly, this works in Vista but not in Win7. The error msg I get is as follows

Error messagesDriver Install: the driver package does not specify a hardware identifier
Can anyone shed some light on this error msg please?

Honestly this sounds like an unsupported/Manufacturer card, because They don't even list the x1400 series in the 9.x series of drivers. Who made the card? Was it built by ATI?

Re: Cat 9.3 Drivers, x1400, Win7 NOT WORKING

Yes it is a mobility card, suppoted in vista right up to Cat 9.3 (Last Month). The card came out after the x1300 mobility card and supports DX9, The card installs perfectly in Vista with Cat 9.3 But with Win 7 the card was supported briefly through windows update but the driver was taken down by ATI, Win 7 supports x1300 natively, the card is supported in Vista through Cat 9.3 with mobility modder, Cat 9.3 is supposed to support Win 7 and attemts to install the driver but fails with a hardware id error...

Finally got it following instructions in this thread...

Thanks everyone and hope everything gets sorted for Win 7 and Mobility Modder, I am confident it will!
Used Cat 9.4 to install CCC and it works now too! All I need now is the secondary display adapter to work and it will be complete!
