Need Clarification here

I have the radeon mobility x1400 graphics card. I ran the modder and all that good stuff and rebooted. Now when I go to start CCC tis nothing now window pops up. All the files are there to my knowledge. When I ran check ver it is telling me the following.
Catalys Registration=2.0.0.0
CCC=2008.1201.1503.27008
Driver=8.561

NOTE I did not uinstall any previous drivers should I have? Also should I have installed the latest CCC without modding it?
