ATI mobility X1700 lost harware acceleration

Just updated to catalyst 9.5 with mobility modder, in an attempt to get sims 3 to run on my asus F3JP. Tested at Can You Run It? Powered by System Requirements Lab and all was ok. but after update
it is telling me i have no video card 3d accleration, and no pixel shader ver 2.0.

Is there anything else i need to install or have I not set it up correctly.

Any help would be great.

I have the same problem, al games crash in the start,

Hi, I was under the impression that from version 9.3 onwards that ATI would no longer support anything below the 2XXX series (I've also got a ASUS F3JP x1700) and havent bothered upgrading to newer versions, has anyone with x1XXX series cards successfully done so, any improvements?
