Hello, I have an Asus a8jp laptop with the x1700 video card.
I have a few questions that I hope you all could help me with!
1. does the x1700 support dxva for x264 mkv 1080p movies?
2. does mobility modder support dxva?
3. How do you install 9.3 ati drivers with MM?
-When I follow the steps with the guide and reboot after i use the mobility modder tool, it looks like the drivers aren't installed because everything is all big and blocky. Am I supposed to go to the c:ati/support folder and open the install.exe file after I use mobility modder and reboot? When I do this, the drivers install and work. However, CCC won't install and gives me an error. Also, when I use MPC-HC to watch a 1080p dxva movie, the dxva support does not initialize. However, I know that it should work, because I have the same setup but with my other computer with a nvidia card and the dxva initializes.
Can someone help me solve my problem? I just want to watch 1080p movies, thanks!
