nVidia Mobility Modder fails on 190.38

I have tried to modify the new 190.38 nvidia driver, but the setup did not find any supported hardware. I tried in two notebook, 6100 Go and 6600 Go.
I'm using nvidia modder 1.1.0.0 and it's succefull update the nv4_disp.inf.

I tried an older driver 182.50 and it's worked.

yep, something's been wrong with the modder... tried a few drivers after 182.50 without success... so i'm still using those... they're stable so it's ok for now...

exclamation Re: nVidia Mobility Modder fails on 190.38

I agree, I performed the install of the Ati Modder that worked on my Fujitsu Laptop on the ATI HD2600. But it was harder on my 64bit Nvidia based HP laptop. First the 190.38 the new driver didn't work checked the forum and found this post. So i went to the supplied drivers through driverheaven which is 182.50. This worked first I had to disable UAC for Vista. Then disable driver signing check for 64bit Vista. (will not install driver being unsigned without doing so first, must be done from a command prompt with administrator privileges) Then booted in safe mode uninstalled HP's Nvidia drivers and patched 182.50 then installed from setup.exe. This did the trick... but we all know we'd prefer the latest driver to be working.
Open Control Panel, go to Users and click UAC, uncheck it to disable, or go to run type msconfig and go to last tab near bottom you can disable UAC. The easiest way is to use the option in the mobility modders. Restart after this. After UAC is disabled. To open cmd prompt in Admin. type in search cmd press Shift-enter when its highlighted. next type this command i'd copy and paste... right click the cmd to paste into it. (bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS). Just copy from inside quotations. After you install the driver after being modified and now that driver signing is disabled you may re-enable UAC. That is it 64bit can be annoying but it has good performance.
