horizontal pattern on screen with 1.49 gb radeon HD 3200

i have hp touch smart tx2-1075 with 2.2 gb amd processor , 4 gb ram , 320 gb hdd , a ati radeon HD 3200 and a directx 10
the problem is my system read that the graphic card have a 1.49 gb memory which lead to make my screen have a black pattern with no responce and when i plug a vga screen to my laptop its work and the black pattern gose away then i plug out the vga screen and work normally so plz any one have asolution to my problem
