what does cab cleaner do?

When i go to cab cleaner, and hit clean, what exactly is it deleting? I was under the impression that it would give me a choice of what files within the cab to remove

Cab Cleaner will delete the nvidia display and ati display drivers from the cab files. This is to prevent windows from loading the drivers out of those cab files.

ahh ok, so it strictly just deleted video card drivers from the cab, nothing else

correct.its worth running cab cleaner to the removal of the older drivers.
