Weird DriverCleaner 3 problem

Hey all,

Just spent the past hour trying to sort an odd problem. I downloaded and installed DC3 ( after uninstalling 2.7 ) as I was updating to Forceware 56.72 from 56.64. Removed the drivers in Windows and rebooted into safe mode. Ran DC3.0, selected Nvidia from the dropdown, it cleaned, rebooted to install the new drivers and discovered that my cordless Logitech keyboard no longer worked

! ( error code 31 in device manager ). Checked the DC log and nothing out of the ordinary appeared deleted ( though DC had deleted dumant.sys from the System32/ Drivers/ folder, whatever that it ). After trying a USB keyboard instead, which still gave the error code in device manager, I gave up and went back to a backup system partition I had from a few days ago. This has DC v2.7 on it, so I'm going to try it again and see if I get the same problem. If not, then I'll try the same steps again with DC3 tomorrow night and post here with the results ( I'm running Win2K with SP4 installed if that makes any difference ).

Wierd that dumant.sys is deleted, because it is not in the remove list. Is it possible that the nvidia uninstall removes it?
