Driver Cleaner 3.2/Cab Cleaner Issue
I've been running DC and CC for some time now and this is an issue that seems relatively new (maybe starting from Cat 4.4s).
I'd remove the drivers from Control Panel, run the ATI cleaning utility and run Cab Cleaner for both Driver.cab and SP1.cab, however, no matter how many times I run them, on restart, Windows will still automatically install some set of 9700 Pro drivers. I don't know if this causes a problem but it was my understanding that Cab Cleaner should remove all the default and backed up Windows drivers so that it shouldn't be installing any drivers for the video card. |

Oh. I feel kind of dumb for not trying that.

np, but it is step 1 in the readme. It is that windows will make contact with the ms server i think and downloads new drivers.
