Is the omega driver superior to ATI driver for 9800 pro?

This all comes down to your own needs and sense of judgement, Omega prides himself on Image Quality, he likes to push the cards that little bit more to achieve what most people consider to be a better driver, the only real option is to try them both, and stick with the one that works for you best.

I bought this new computer for gaming purposes only. I tried the updated drivers from ATI and experienced a loss in fps. In your opinion, is this a better driver for gaming applications? One more question. If I use the Omega drivers, does it matter what control panel I use for the card? Do you have a preference in control panels? I tried the rage3d but it seemed very complicated for a nub like myself so I switched back to default/
