Driver Cleaner error message on Install

Hi there,

I have just decided to try out DC for the first time to remove my nVidia drivers. However, when I try to install DC by clicking on "setup.exe" I get the following error message:

"Error! Can't initialize plug-ins directory. Please try again later."

I have downloaded the ZIP file from two different locations (Guru3D and this site), both are doing the same thing.

As other people don't seem to have the same problem it is probably something on my system. I am running Windows XP Pro with SP1.

Hi can you check your hard drive and your temp folder, because the error means this: "The plug-ins directory is a temporary directory for the installer. There may be a problem with the drive that contains the Windows temp folder."

So see if the temp folder is there and if the hd where windows is on had enough free space.
