"TuneXP" and "Diskeeper Boot Defrag" don't play well
Well, I ran Diskeeper's "Boot Defrag" which makes all your folders go to the beginning of the drive. Then, I ran TuneXP's "Ultra Fast Booting" thingy. But these two don't play together well, see..Ultra Fast Booting threw about 30MB of files into the very MIDDLE of my HDD...now, im guessing those are driver's....
Now, I have a Western Digital 120GB 7,200RPM w/ 8mb cache. Will 30MB of drivers sitting in the middle of my hard drive slow my booting down to much? or will it really only be a milisecond difference when running on an already "tweaked out to the MAX OF MAX" PC (using various other reg, services, and such tweaks). Does it really matter as much as I think it does that those files are in the middle instead of the beginning, or should I reformat? ![]()
